Lina Kovačević rođena je u Zagrebu. Diplomirala na Studiju Dizajna u Zagrebu i magistrirala na Central St. Martins College of Arts u Londonu. Članica je HZSU-a i HDD-a od 2006. godine, te HDLU-a od 2019. godine. Izlaže na domaćim i međunarodnim izložbama, samostalno ili kao članica kolektiva. Za svoj rad dobila je nagrade poput ID Annual Design Review, Art Directors Club, Magdalena, Red Dot, te nagradu Young Guns za mlade autore. Izlagala je na manifestacijama poput Milan Triennale, Paris Design Week, London Design Week , a kao veejay nastupala je na festivalima poput Club Transmediale, Berlin; Contact Europe, Beč; Steirische Herbst i ExitSpace, Graz. Pisala je za Oris, a kao kustosica i organizatorica sudjelovala je u produkciji izložbi „Sloboda Stvaralaštvu“ Zagreb „Stock Exchange of Dreams“ London, „Portrait in 5 parts London“; „Ridely’s Temporary Restaurant“ London i drugi. Njen rad „Set za online romantičnu večeru“ odabran je kao poklon hrvatske ministrice kulture francuskoj ministrici kulture povodom izložbe „Croatie, la Voici“ u Parisu, a predavanja o svom radu održala je na Share konferenciji i Apple Store-u u Londonu. 2020.je pozvana da bude članicom žirija za međunarodnu nagradu za kreativce YOUNG GUNS koja se održava u New Yorku.

Born iz Zagreb, Croatia, Lina Kovačević graduated from the School of Design in Zagreb and got her master’s degree at the Central St.Martins School of Art and Design in London. She works in design, installations, new media and art objects.  Her work is often described as subversive and critical yet witty and poetic on both individual and collective level. She exhibited internationally and won awards such as Art Directors Club NY, Red Dot, ID Annual Design Review and others.  She performed on music festivals  such as Club Transmediale Berlin and her work  „Set for online romantic dinner“ was selected as a present from croatian ministry of culture to french ministry of culture. In 2020. she was invited to be in a jury for international creative award Young Guns in New York.
